Visited here many times.Service is excellent, staff really do make you feel that nothing is too much trouble.They made my young neice her own special dish that was not on the menu.Food comes quickly, good size portions.Menu very varied. Excellent value. Complimentry bottle of Mi-Wadi left on each table. Main eating area feels open almost like a canteen, more suited for casual dining.Specialises in large and/or family groups,not the type of place for couples looking for romantic meal.Will definitely go back.

This is a great steakhouse on the main Dublin road from Cavan to Virginia. I eat here regularly and am a viciously picky eater and I think you won't be disappointed. My top recommendation is the steak on hot stone. You cook the meat yourself on a hot stone. It's a steakhouse so I would only ever recommend eating steak here. And they do it very well. The sides are great - order the dauphinoise potatoes (or cheesey garlic potatoes). They have Finches orange cordial on every table, which is a nice touch. The restaurant is divided into 2 sections, a smaller area with a cosy bar feel, and a larger more standard feeling restaurant area. It's been recently decorated to add a rich feel but it still maintains that homely family touch and you'll be really looked after by the waiting staff - who all seem to be women. Service is really great and the food is pricey but nice. This is an excellent place for families and seems to be a regular haunt for locals. The menu changes in the evening but the emphasis is always on steak. My criticisms: the curry is anything but thai- in fact it's more Turkish due to the horrendous amount of green peppers used in the sauce. I also wouldn't reccomend the pasta as it came overcooked (and broken!) in a watery sauce. That said - it's a steakhouse - so order the steak. I never get a starter or dessert as the portions are huge - a good complaint. Atmosphere is really good here (nice and relaxed) so top marks for that.

We've been here a few times and the food is excellent.On one occasion we had the fahitas that are carried out in this rack like thing which holds the sauces, the wraps etc, which I thought was very good presentation of the food and fun to eat. But one thing that they do perfect are the Sirloin Steaks, I had the best steak I've ever eaten from here 5 Star for the food and it's reaonable priced too another thing that is absolutely delicious are their garlic potatoes, You have to try them they're Superb. The staff are very friendly too and it seems like its a restaurant/bar that caters for all.
