Friendly staff, lovely food and good value for money. Always have a starter and pasta or pizza. Service is quick enough. Can be busy at the weekends so booking would be advisable. Desserts are gorgeous too. Always play nice music and candles on table make for a romantic atmosphere. Good place to come as a couple or with family or friends. Have same issue as another reviewer with the worn menu, they could do with investing in some new ones. Otherwise a very nice and relaxing place to eat.

2.0 Little Sicily - Cavan 2.0 star review:
I had the tagliatelli Piedmontese and my partner had the alfredo vegetarian. It was nice but when it arrived it seemed to have been microwaved or warmed up, dry on the top and the sauce was starting to develop a skin. Once mixed up it was fine but not an encouraging sight. Service was poor. We were handed to very worn menu pieced together with sellotape and never checked on during meal despite being two of only a handful of diners. Espresso was not an espresso more of an americano. The whole decor is very drab and dated, I doubt its ever been redone since the place was opened which is a long time. The music was awful and too loud. The food deserved better surrounds even though it was nothing special. Little Sicily is coasting it.

A surprising find in Cavan town! The food is delicious. I've been here a couple of times. Have to admit though, that I've never tried the pizzas or the mains. I always go for a selection of the starters. The garlic bread, mussels, crab claws, salads, etc are always very tasty and filling. Nice place and nice service.

Four of us visited this restaurant and enjoyed a very nice meal at a reasonable price. Our drink and food orders we taken quickly and our starters wich were excellent arrived soon after. The main courses were very very good and very generous. The deserts and coffees again were good and we were not rushed with the bill so we could relax. The service was excellent throughout with one reservation - please don't clear plates from a table until everyone has finished the course! Overall a nice restaurant with good food reasonably priced.

4.5 Little Sicily - Cavan 4.5 star review:
Visited here yesterday with 2 young children for lunch.
It is a welcoming place-the dining area is neat and clean with a well kept fish tank that kept the kids entertained for while. Only thing against the room is it is a bit dark-the windows are small because the restaurant is built into a hill.
The food in general was excellent and good value. My wife had sea bream which was very well prepared and tasty. I had pasta pancetta which also was very tasty. Only complaint here was that the starter of potatoe skins was a little on the cold side.
I would recommend this place for a lunch in Cavan.

Having visited this restaurant on several occasions my view is still the same, this restaurant is one of the best in Cavan Town.
It is family friendly and they always have something for my little boy to colour or play with. We took my little boy there on his first birthday and a member of staff even sang happy birthday to him!
Every member of staff is friendly and whether they are really busy or only have a few tables in you are given the same exceptional service. The food is always to a very high standard and well worth the money.
They also have a take away service and you can order anything off the menu you would have in the restaurant.
