5.0 Hotel Kilmore 5.0 star review:
We went to Hotel Kilmore yesterday for our Sunday Lunch. NIce warm atmosphere when we arrived. Lunch was very tasty, nice whoesome food. On arrival we were met by a member of staff who directed us towards the carvery. Plenty of choice on the menu. Service moved very fast. No booking required which was good and plenty of seating available. Great busy buzzy atmosphere and it was warm.
I would recommend this spot for Sunday lunch to anyone.

4.0 Hotel Kilmore 4.0 star review:
A Lovely carvery. I've been to the Kilmore on a number of occasions and I can definately say the carvery is great. Had the beef carvery twice this summer and while once it was luke warm (had it heated up) the other time it was perfect. There is free cordial on the tables, as there is in a lot of places in Cavan.
The evening menu didn't impress me - had fajitas some evening and it was decidedly poor. Guacamole tasted like the jarred variety, salsa not great either and the whole dish looked sad and not very mexican. As a big Mexican fan, I was disappointed. I think they should stick to more local dishes on the menu as they seem to do them very well. The menu could do with an update - nothing was very cutting edge but still good quality Irish food. The staff are very well trained and are always pleasant. The hotel itself has an atmosphere of olde grandeur, which clashes a bit with the outside. However I love this place and will definately be back with the parents.
