We came to Cabra for two nights. The second night we were attending a wedding in the castle so the night before we had a meal in the restaurant. I can't rate the restaurant high enough. We had a 4 courses, coffees and wine for a ridiculously reasonable price. The food was incredible, the service was great, the dining room itself looks out over the grounds (we had a very nice window table). I consider this restaurant as one of the nicest places I've ever eaten in!!!

My partner and I had a lovely weekend in Cabra Castle. This was our fourth visit and part of the attraction is the delicious food. We ate in the dining room on both evenings and were delighted again with the menu. The Caesar Salad starter is almost a main course in itself and very good. The Cranberry Granita served as alternative to soup is very refreshing - made with crushed ice which clears the palate for the main course. Steaks and beef at the Castle are excellent as also are the fish dishes. Vegetables are fresh and well-cooked, although we weren't too enamoured with the mashed potatoes. Portions are very generous. The service is excellent. The dining room was very busy on both evenings -showing that quality will always triumph even in recessionary times!
