Visiting the area and had Sunday lunch here. Reasonably good food but not very exciting. Only two red wines available by quarter bottle. Quality not great. Staff knowledge of same was very little. Very nice premises and grounds seemed quite busy. Room for improvement.

Hi luvgoodfood Thank you for visiting Errigal Country House Hotel for Sunday Lunch. and for taking the time to write this review. As you may be aware from your visit, we offer Two dining Options for Sunday lunch. Option 1: Carvery in our Skeffington Suite. Popular choice for lots of families where children under 12 years of age eat FREE. Yes we only display a limited choice of quarter bottles of wine. Our Restaurant wine menu is available on request. Option 2: Reynards Restaurant, Where we offer a large choice of Starters Main Course and Desserts on our Sunday Lunch Menu. There is also an excellent wine menu to suit your meal. I suggest on your next visit you try our Reynards Restaurant where you wont be disappointed. Hope to welcome you back in the near future.

Had a very enjoyable meal here on Tuesday night. I've been a few times as my parents live nearby and I think it's a lovely hotel restaurant. The food's nothing groundbreaking, but it's tasty and generous. I really like the room, as it's got the balance of space and tables just right and the decor is nice. The service is very friendly, but not very smooth at times, the waitress spilled our bubbly a few times! I had a melon and strawberry starter, it harps back a little to 80's hotel dining, but it was fresh and light. I had a risotto for mains and it was again very tasty and enjoyable. The coffee according to my companions was instant, but they did throw in a free latte.

I was here with my husband on saturday. We had gone for a weekend away and went to the hotel bar for food. it was quite empty when we got in which was a bit of a shame but the staff were very friendly and attentative. I ordered Fajitas and the husband ordered The Steak Burger. The Fajitas were delioucious. I got a lot more chicken than I could eat and the piri piri sauce was perfect. The burger was very fresh and cooked to perfection. We also had freshly cooked home made real chips none of your soggy bag chips and onion rings. All in all the bill came to €35 with a drink each. This place is well worth a visit if you are in the area.
