Ate here with a group during an afternoon. Staff were friendly giving us water and menus until our full party arrived. They were prompt to take our order and it didnt take too long for the food to arrive. A number of the group ordered the traditional turkey dish which came with 2 scoops of mash, stuffing (a bit dry) and a side plate of veg (carrots, peas, turnip). Other members ordered the beef lasange, a sizeable portion with skinny chips and side salad. Others ordered the chicken breast (very large!), fish of the day and the steak and mushroom pie. The prices were very good, everythings was under €10 but the quality of the food was very good.
Everyone was satisfied with the food and the staff regularly checked to see if we were happy with our orders. They were very accommodating when some members ordered additional items or altered the order. Once our dinner dishes were cleared away, we were given dessert menus and our orders taken. They were prompt to serve us desserts and tea/coffee.
Overall, a very good experience and will return given the great value on offer. Only downside was the stmosphere was a bit quiet but given it was mid-afternoon perhaps to be expected.
Ona minor side-note, the toilets could ahve been given more cleaning attention.
