The Wine Team in DF have selected some of their ‘top picks’ from the range, like Provia Régia DO Bucelas Arinto 2010: “Most Portuguese wines are made with indigenous grapes, Provia Régia is no exception, produced from the almost unknown Arinto. Delightful crisp lemon and intriguing light pear fruit, set off by a slight spritz. Perfect as an aperitif or with seafood.” Provia Régia was €12.99, with 20% off is now only €10.39.
The DF Wine experts are also a fan of the Diemersfontein Pinotage 2009(Was €20.99, now €16.79). Pinotage comes from a cross of Pinot Noir and Cinsault and has unique aromas. The experts say “‘Unique’ is the best word to describe this wine as it tastes of coffee and milk chocolate – like licking a bar of dairy milk! Totally addictive; once tasted and you will be converted for life.”
Last year Donnybrook Fair won a “Certificate of Excellence” at the National Off-Licence of the Year Awards for their super range and standards of customer service.
