The Ormond is under new management!
With a new full Irish artisan menu and eclectic great value winelist to choose from. Food is served 5pm to 11pm. The premises is a continually changing art gallery too, with pieces from well know artists and underground street artists mixed together on the same wall space. The pieces are mixed together and changed every 2 months to create a fresh ever changing environment for the customers frequenting the bar and restaurant. The idea being that we can look at fine works of art as well as modern graffiti, making us appreciate every aspect of culture in our city.

The winelist has been very carefully selected by 2 sommeliers to give people in Dublin something to talk about. With very little mark up put on the wine, the value is exceptional. At the Ormond, they want to educate people about wine, surprise them and make them try new things they may not have known they enjoyed had they not entered the bar. Most of all we want to offer value for money.
The new food menu changes weekly as the chef buys what is in season and fresh in market everyday. Everything is made on site. From the breads through to the desserts and all of our compotes and chutneys. All of the produce is Irish, and the full menu is fine dining Irish cuisine at it's best. Since it's reopening, the bar and restaurant is host to wedding receptions, celebrity birthday parties and national launch parties, such as the VIP Dublin Pride launch party happening June 8th. The global charity Movember will also be having their Irish launch party here in October. The interior is breathtaking and a hidden gem in Dublin. Located right at the top of Capel St, facing the Liffey beside Capel St Bridge. The restaurant is opened Wed to Sat 5-11pm. With music on weekend nights starting soon!
